Received a subtle email from Nadine today asking where the Blog has got to? She really knows how to prick my conscience, n'est-ce pas?
.
We've had a fantastic week's weather, sadly all changed this morning to dull and miserable. We've got quite a few jobs done outside, including tidying up the garden and emptying (and cleaning and drying carefully, before I'm nagged again!!) the pool that Nad & Si brought over this Summer. The tent is still 'up' disguised as our garden shed as we have a distinct lack of outdoor storage space.
.
So, once again an odd assortment of photos for your delight. The first two were taken by Tine on her way to work the other morning, and beautiful they are too. Photo 3 is our last pear, pronounced delicious on eating! Tine has bottled quite a few pears so hopefully we can savour them out of season.
.
Next, I forgot to show some of Matt's handiwork before he left for his 'jollies' back in the UK. Fencing doesn't come cheap so we thought we'd see how we felt about this small section. As we are very happy with the 'look' we now need to save up for more of the garden. It certainly looks better than the breeze block wall! (Hope you notice the pumpkins, by the way. We've eaten some in soup and given a couple away. A real success!)
.
And finally, just in case you were worrying about the Shreddie reserve (Cécile?!) here is evidence of my last four packs, bought whilst in the UK in August. Gill will possibly be bringing me some soon, so I MIGHT make it to Christmas!

Well someone needs to keep you on the straight and narrow! It's purely selfish so that I have something to read when I'm bored at work (hooray, it's been unblocked!). Gorgeous photos, well done Maman. Love the look of the fencing, really changed the whole feel of it. Fab :) Big bisous and a tres bientot... 10 more sleeps! xxx

Merci de m'avoir rassurée pour tes céréales.
Sinon, je suis sur la même longueur d'ondes que Nadine, je me distrait en lisant le blog lorsque je m'ennuie au boulot...
