Yes, the Cleggy 2 were travelling again last weekend, this time to York to help Adam & Lisa celebrate their wedding. More of that later...We were lucky to gets lifts to Nantes (thanks Hughie & Jeanne) and from Leeds-Bradford to York (merci Lindsay & Colin) so were 'doing lunch' in York just a few hours after setting off. As the first three photos show, York hasn't changed a bit: it's as beautiful as ever.
Colin drove us to our rented cottage in Murton then we went on to the wedding venue at York Maze and found a posse of volunteers preparing for Saturday's wedding. Naturally we had time for some English beer and a good catch-up with our old buddies. As you can see, the weather was glorious - sadly not the next day!
