Back to Piquet

As it was Si's first non-summer visit we decided to show him one of our favourite walks along part of the Yon valley at Piquet. Although the rains had stopped the river was still quite full and the ground too water-logged in places.

The first four photos were taken around the ruins of the old mill.

Say cheese!
We couldn't get to the footbridge as the river had broken its banks.
A couple of Phil's nature studies.

This old building has some fascinating graffiti inside.

People standing on rocks!!
..........................................................................................
As Monty Python used to say, 'And now for something completely different'. Hot news just in - there's a new Ryanair flight from East Midlands Airport to La Rochelle starting 27th March until October. Get yourselves booked, folks!
