The snow had more or less disappeared by the time we got to Figeac but the cold was ever-present and these amazing photos of the River Célé with an icy layer tell the story. Apparently in the past people have been able to walk on the ice across the river, but not this year!

| Then on into town for a bit of shopping before a very welcome coffee at Loulou's favourite bar. |

| We walked into the hills to visit Thierry & the other Sylvie's new house, passing a couple of donkeys, |

| a good view of the camp site by the river |

| and the haunted house: it doesn't look quite as haunted these days! |
