After what seemed like months of waiting for the third version of the jetty to take shape, guess who missed most of the construction! But yes, despite rumours to the contrary it looks as though the jetty and hopefully the boat crossings to the Ile de Ré should be in full swing this summer. The rain has stopped more frequent visits but the last two photos show the boards ready to be laid.
