Cornwall: Boscastle, Newquay & Port Isaac

Boscastle was the site of a tremendous flood in 2004 when torrential rain caused major disruption. As you can see, the day we visited everything was calm and peaceful. Have a look at this YouTube footage http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SxweiRNlHbo to see how things were.

Newquay is the most famous of Cornish destinations...
...with a fishing harbour,
surfing,

and amazing cliffs and beaches.

Port Isaac was a new destination for us:
again the ever-present fishing fleet,
with even boat named after my sister!

Nowadays Port Isaac is best know as the setting of the TV drama, Doc Martin, but he was nowhere to be seen!
