Camaret

To complete a long, busy day we stopped in Camaret both to stretch our legs on the flat and have a sneaky drink of good old ale at a harbour-side bar!

I parked up rather a long way from the interesting part of the town and we had to wrap up well in the cooling temperature
We loved this old boat graveyard...

...with plenty of signs saying danger, keep away!
Notre-Dame-de-Rocamadour, dedicated to the sailors of Camaret...

...but the most famous building is the Vauban tower, completed in 1696 and still very impressive.
But then it was time for a beer (and for me to fetch the car, spotting this sign possibly dedicated to 'our' Philippe on my way)!
