Walk on Baildon Moor

We managed a day on our own between Alfie's and Nadine & Betty's visits, making the most of continuing good weather to climb up onto the moor behind the caravan park.

Can you spot Saltaire down in the valley?
Our next caravan awaiting its renovation
Yorkshire = sheep...
...and lambs.

Nearly there
Made it to the trig point: on top of the world!
These are known as the Cinder Caves, not really caves but dug out by locals...
...some say they're just waste from old coal mines, worked up to the Victorian era.
The view as we walked back, the barren moors giving way to lush pastures
