Although there are 'no surfing' signs around it doesn't stop enthusiasts from practising their expertise on 'our' beach, to the left of the jetty. As there are no swimmers or boats being launched at this time of year there really isn't a problem.

There were plenty of takers on this December day...
...and some managed to ride the waves.
Others were quite happy to take photos!
Another day and it's a walk down one of the four new sets of steps to the beach between le Pavillon and le Phare...
...to be greeted by hundreds of Canada geese. There must be rich pickings to be had!
