Our first break since last October, and it was visiting ‘Er from Brittany (with no photographic evidence of our hostess obviously)!
After our journey and a lovely lunch we drove across to Damgan and enjoyed a stroll along the coast to la Tour de Penerf, otherwise known as the English Tower.
Zoom in and practise your French!
It is now the only beacon on the Atlantic coast that used fire and smoke to warn of approaching naval vessels
The coast has been eaten into by recent high tides
Happily no vampire was hurt in the taking of this photograph!
We made a short detour to visit L'Église Saint-Pierre...
...with its beautiful mosaic behind the alter.
Opposite the church we hear music...
...which nearly got 'Er practising her Breton dancing steps!

Super les deux musiciens ! On comprend bien qu'ils se sont fait virer de chez eux...
