Visiting ‘Er from Brittany

We’d done a bit of shopping for ‘Er back in the UK so a delivery to Brittany was in order.

It’s already 14 years since ‘Er and her Mum stayed in this first floor apartment in Port Navalo, whilst searching for a house to buy

We had a lovely walk round the headland but had to stop for a glass of rosé (it would be churlish not to)…

…plus the view at 17:22 was fantastic.

Next day the weather was duller but we still ventured out to Malestroit

The building’s not so attractive…

…but the wooden sculptures were fun!

Across the bridge…

…and if you look very carefully there’s a certain someone talking to me on the other side.

Part river, part canal…

…but these signs tell the tale of previous floods.

We came across this old ‘lavoir’ where clothes washing was done

The town centre is very picturesque, and of course we had to stop for a drink. For once I had a hot chocolate to warm me up!
