Nadine requested we grew some sunflowers this year, and as you can see we have granted her wishes. The first four photos show our biggest sunflower, complete with snaps one day apart to show how quickly they develop, and finally to show how tall it is!

The next two shots are taken of a renegade sunflower which seeded itself (along with four others, amazingly all in a line, military style)! The seed dispenser can be see in the cherry tree above.

We've had Nadine with us for over a week now but today we took her friend Gez back to the airport and couldn't resist getting the last photo of a 'real' field of sunflowers just up the road from home.
