On our way to Yorkshire again

Yes, it looks like the blog is being hijacked again by our travels elsewhere. Apologies to you purists out there...

We decided to set off early to revisit the coast to the east of St Malo, our ferry crossing not until the evening.

First stop: Cancale, famed for its oysters...we didn't partake!

Cancale has a lovely relaxed feel to it, not too busy but not too quiet either

Next stop: La Pointe de Grouin

Can you spot Le Mont St Michel on the horizon?
Next: the beautiful small church of Notre-Dame du Verger...
...and the beach just below.
L'Île du Guesclin, an island when the tide comes in. We remember discovering this idyllic spot on holiday with Nad & Phil many years ago.
There were two very loud alsatians to ward off any intruders
Tine kept on photographing anyway!
Finally on the ferry with a pint of ale and a g&t

Next stop: England, and yes, you're coming too!

Christmas in the UK again! If you are passing by (visiting your friends up the hill in Kirkheaton) you must call in to see us.

We arrive on 28th, Richard, but these photos were from October! Send your address/phone number in an email, just in case.

Vivre sur une île qui ne l'est pas tout le temps, seulement deux fois par jour... il doit falloir s'y habituer ! Superbe endroit, en tous cas.
