Catching up and goodbye

Purists will be pleased to know this is the final post from our Christmas/New Year visit to the UK. We even extended our trip by a week to fit everyone in!

Sunbridge Wells is a new development in Bradford, where ancient quarry tunnels have been converted into shops and bars

This video was taken not long before it opened https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXvFXBIfT4E

We caught up with our great niece Rosanna who was just starting to walk
It was great to see Vics & Ste too (Ste taking the photo)
Love this cheeky photo of Caroline & Martin who treated us to a lovely lunch at Shibden Mill Inn - highly recommended! Better news: they're coming to see us in La Tranche in July!
One day we ventured over the snowy moors from Haworth to Hebden Bridge...

...to visit Valentine's café...
...but especially to see Debbie, my old teaching assistant in her new venture. We'll be back!
Did I mention snow earlier? Evidence at the caravan...
...but perfect blue skies for our departure.
A lovely overnight stay chez Philippe with pub outing, of course...
...deer hunting in the Derbyshire Peaks...
...and a reconnoiter with a polar bear at Weston Park Museum, a fascinating place to visit!

Back to France and La Tranche next day. But you know us: it won't be long before we're travelling again!
