Au revoir, la France

Since our removal to France in 2007 we've frequently returned to the UK (as my faithful readers will be all too aware) but Tine's operation earlier in the year meant a full seven months 'stuck' in our paradise. What punishment!

Mind you, needs must when you hit the last box of Shreddies
The weather was still glorious the day of our departure...
...shutters securely fastened and winter pool cover in place.
'Er from Brittany invited us for lunch en route for the port
As usual no photos of 'Er (more than my life's worth)...
...but she took us for a lovely stroll via this magnificent maize field...
...already half harvested.
Can't remember the significance of this cross but it's definitely impressive !
What a wonderful feeling once on board the ferry with old St Malo looking beautiful in the evening sky (drinks in hand, of course)!
