Le nom de "casa de la vinya" provient de l'époque de l'arrière-grand-père Juan Lloveras dont nous avons vu la sépulture au cimetière, qui cultivait la vigne sur ce terrain. Le phylloxéra détruisit toutes les vignes de la région (et de bien d'autres) à la fin du XIXe siècle.
