After what has seemed like a long, long winter we’ve finally hit spring with a vengeance.
The apple blossom has been stunning this year and we’re hopeful for a good harvest in the autumn
Equally impressive has been the wisteria...
...if only this blog included the scent. It’s so powerful.
The fig tree seems to fruit twice each year and in the past we’ve never harvested the first crop. Fingers crossed for this year.

...and we’re looking forward to a good crop of ‘ratte’ potatoes, very similar to pink fir apple variety in the UK.

...four varieties waiting to grow now. Don’t worry, I’m keeping my eye on frosty nights but I reckon we’re safe now.
Artichokes and strawberries look after themselves. Both favourites in our family.
