Meta

In the afternoon we took the local bus to Meta, just along the coast from our Airbnb.

No doubts about the weather: it was HOT...

...and just look at the colour of the sea.

Sadly the beaches are black with volcanic sand...

...and most are privately owned by hotels.

Big preparations were in swing for the summer season

Tine & I made our way back to the station, leaving Helen & Mo to the bit of beach they found

Of course a cooling beer was in order...

...with a view over the bay.

Now joined by Helen & Mo again and it looks like our train is arriving. Back to base!
