Here and there




A few more photos from recent visits. The first couple are from the Plage de Veillon described in my last post. The sea was making beautiful patterns as it was coming in, making the sand look almost like boiling porridge! In fact the bubbles are surfacing from razor-shells Next we have some sanderlings, as ever playing in the shallow water avoiding the waves.

Inland slightly towards Avrillé we found two more 'old rocks' to add to our collection. The Dolmen de Sulette is hidden away not far from St Hilaire and has been restored beautifully. The Menhir du Camp de César is positioned just behind the town hall in Avrillé and measures 8.7 metres, 7 of which are above ground. Impressive stuff!

Maman doesn't have a coat on... is it really warm enough to be coatless? Can you bring in a little more sunshine for in three week's time? PLEASE! x
