And as winter draws ever nearer we took delivery of our oak logs this week, an extra stère (a cubic metre) this year as we had very little left after last year's prolonged cold months. Backbreaking stuff but at least we'll be warm and snug now.

Ah the leaves are brown....
... but the sky is blue! These photos prove that we have had some sunshine recently, but in very short supply. We went towards Moutiers les Mauxfaits in search of some autumnal colours and found these for your delight.
