Our 5th Anniversary

Well, how shall I celebrate five years of An Englishman in La Tranche? By looking back, of course, to our 'house-cooling' party just before we left our beloved house in Charles Street. There are many special people missing from this selection, apologies to them, but looking at these photos again after five years you can see how happy we were to be surrounded by such wonderful people, many of whom have been out to see us. As for the rest of you, get booked!!

Andy, Gill, Steve, Maddie & Sue - I worked with Gill & Steve at CDMS
Dianne & Tina - colleagues of Tine at PMS
Bingley buddies & boozy mates Jane, Stan, Caroline & Martin
Q colleagues: Ian, Jill, Yvonne & James
Bingley friends: Meg, Annabel, Jasmin & Rex
Our favourite next door neighbours, Arun & Anita. Anil was on his stag night, if I remember correctly!
Dave R - sadly Meryl couldn't make it
Lovely Dorothy who Tine first met in 1973 when she arrived in England & who many years later moved in opposite us!
Margaret, Peter, Courtney & Lindsey - Peter was Tine's colleague at PMS and Margaret flew over from Australia specially (not)!
Gwen & John
Ian & Gina
Janice: what would we have done without her over the years?
More Q colleagues: Janine, Liz & Rahail
Lynn, Al, Feth & Hela: I can hear 'Psycho Killer', great band Amnesia playing down at the Brown Cow
Mark & Carole: Matt & Nad both worked for Mark doing their paper-rounds
Russ & Sue: Russ was Tine's DH at PMS
Ricky, Gillian & George: Gillian child-minded Philippe
Now we're going way back: Welsh Dave, Lindsay & Colin - back to Bingley College in the early 70s
Jim & Les, our oldest friends - ok they're younger than me - first met in 1970 at Bingley College
Lindsay, Sue & Les moving inside searching for drinks - never a problem then or now!
More Bingley College shenanigans with Jim, Sue, Dave & Lindsay

Well I hope you enjoyed my bit of time-travel. Should be more on Facebook soon for my friends there. Back to normal next time, and thanks for keeping the faith on An Englishman in La Tranche over the years!
