The furthest we travelled on our little holiday was to Douarnenez, a picturesque but working port on the Pouldavid estuary.
We came across this sleepy, sandy bay on our arrival, complete with changing huts
The town from the hutted bay!
L'Ile Tristan which is accessible by foot at low tide
We weren't sure what this logo was but it was everywhere on the waterfront
The beautiful waterfront but with the canning factory for sardines & mackerel in the background
Your faithful blogger alongside the Port-Musée (Museum of the Port)
with its visitable old vessels. John would love it, wouldn't he, Edith?!
