L'Ile Penotte

We have been to Les Sables so many times since our arrival in Vendée, but it's only just this summer that we took Cynthia's advice and searched out L'Île Penotte, hidden away between the main seafront and the harbour. There are narrow streets with many designs made entirely from shells.

Credit to Danielle Arnaud whose creations these are. More on this link: http://www.art-insolite.com/pageinsolites/insoaubin.htm

Shell-shocked! Wow wow wow. Yet again you show me somewhere I'd love to visit and see with my own eyes.

Bonne idée, Cynthia, j'adore aussi ! Nous n'avions vu que les bateaux lors de notre visite. Merci.
