Sadly the weather didn't improve and we didn't stay long at La Guérinière...
...just enough time to see our first oyster dispenser: baguette and pizza dispensers are becoming more commonplace!
Onto the island's main town, Noirmoutier-en-l'Île, where they were doing renovation work at l'Église Saint Philbert...
...but we still managed to visit the crypt.
Opposite is le château with its 20m towers behind very secure walls...
...and a pretty cold-looking Faithful Blogger!
