End of season do (1)

It's been a tough season at La Paillote but luckily August's weather and crowds have helped put a smile back onto Matt's face. Another plus has been the fantastic team he's had working for him this year. They have been so hard working and ever-supportive of Matt, always done with good humour - I think I will remember the laughs the most this year.

As an end-of-season treat Matt took us all to Indian Forest not far from here (very like Go Ape in the Lake District). It wasn't really my cup of tea (as we say) but I raised myself to the challenge and here is the proof!

Photo 1 has the full team but no Mousse (taking the photo) - don't we look fetching in our purple? Photos 2 & 3 show me in action, then photo 4 shows how it SHOULD be done!

Afterwards there was fun time in the park. That's Jeremy, Matt's chef riding the bucking bronko in photo 5. Following that we have Mousse & Floppy (don't ask!), Matt & Charles, and finally Nadine trying to defeat strong elastic bands!

What a day, but far more to come. Watch this space.....

Bien contente de ne pas avoir bossé à La Paillote, les enfants y sont allés mais j'ai trop le vertige ... rien qu'en les écoutant raconter leur journée
