Changes in town and a beautiful sunset

Work has started on the promised new covered market, alongside the tourist office. Summer visitors wouldn't recognise La Tranche market at this time of year with only about ten stalls. Perhaps warmer conditions will encourage more traders.
Just above the market it looks as though they are continuing to widen the pavement ready for next summer when no doubt the one way system will be extended further.

And finally a couple of photos taken at Le Rocher, one of Phil's favourite spots.

Thanks for the regular updates about the many investments/changes made to La Tranche and its environs. I look forward to 'inspecting' them when I visit in 'sunny' February.
