Bordeaux is a very old city with many interesting back streets. We found this beautiful stone carving on the doorway to the Bourse Maritime (shipping exchange)
What's the French national sport, I hear you ask....strikes and demonstrations, of course! It wasn't just us on the streets of Bordeaux that weekend.
Ancient and modern, Bordeaux also has an impressive mirror pool that attracts lots of people (the protesters just behind)! Proof that Tine CAN walk on water, as if you ever doubted!
