The last couple of days ...

... are always a bit rushed, checking we've got all the shopping we need, leaving the caravan neat & tidy for any visitors. This time we did some visiting too!

But before then Alfie helped with the Crabbies/beer run at the cash'n'carry
His reward? A babyccino at Don't Tell Titus in Saltaire, plus the froth from Mamie's cappuccino of course
Saw this sign at the hairdresser's next door. Note the date!
We did an overnight at Jim & Les's and next day we enjoyed a walk around Oakwell Hall...
with its English Civil War and Brontë connections.
Look who came to see us whilst we had our morning coffees/chocolates: a robin, some say the symbol of deceased ones, and Grandad's favourite bird

On our last morning Phil took us on a lovely drive up into the Peak District. Being Good Friday it was really busy so we'll have to do more exploration another time.

Howden Dam, near to Ladybower Lake...

Used in the World War II film, 'The Dam Busters'
