It's not always blue skies!

Looking at recent posts I can't help but be reminded what a beautiful summer we had (especially looking out of the window right now, watching the driving rain).

Some photos then to show the weather isn't always perfect.

The sky doesn't get much angrier than this: I wonder how far I managed to walk this day!

Approaching the jetty. It looks like La Rochelle is enjoying a major rainstorm over the bay from us.

From our garden looking due west

Red sky at night shepherds (or sailors) delight

But what if you get rain AND sun?

One day we had a huge double rainbow, too big for me to capture from our garden

Thankfully Matt to the rescue from the Starfish...

...or this one 'stolen' from a friend's Facebook page

One constant is the moon, not always full or visible but very impressive with the lights of La Rochelle over the bay
