After such a busy summer we decided to head off for southern Finistère for a week, renting a gîte near La Fôret-Fouesnant. Sadly the weather wasn't always on our side but it didn't stop us visiting some wonderful places. Hope you don't mind the blog being taken over by our mini-break for a few posts...
The gîte where we managed one meal outside all week! |
Look carefully at the difference between high... |
...and low tide at La Fôret-Fouesnant |
This beautiful church was in Fouesnant itself |
Proof that Autumn is on its way (La Fôret-Fouesnant) |
400 m from our gîte there was a coastal footpath with views of a covered sea-water swimming pool |
and someone you might recognise shell-spotting. |
The light was amazing the day we ventured along the low cliffs. |
