A week in Brittany: around La Fôret-Fouesnant

After such a busy summer we decided to head off for southern Finistère for a week, renting a gîte near La Fôret-Fouesnant. Sadly the weather wasn't always on our side but it didn't stop us visiting some wonderful places. Hope you don't mind the blog being taken over by our mini-break for a few posts...

The gîte where we managed one meal outside all week!
Look carefully at the difference between high...

...and low tide at La Fôret-Fouesnant

This beautiful church was in Fouesnant itself

Proof that Autumn is on its way (La Fôret-Fouesnant)
400 m from our gîte there was a coastal footpath with views of a covered sea-water swimming pool
and someone you might recognise shell-spotting.
The light was amazing the day we ventured along the low cliffs.
