A week in Brittany: Beg Meil

We really fell for Beg Meil, not too far a drive from our gîte. I'm not sure if it was the rare blue skies, the almost white sand or reports from long ago from good friends Jim & Les AND Meryl & Dave who each spent happy family holidays here one heatwave summer.

Your faithful blogger still needed to keep warm however!

These mini-waders were feasting away on something at the water's edge

Tine texting Meryl to tell her where we were!

On the other side of the headland a much calmer bay, complete with cormorants drying off
A lone fisherman through the pine trees
All around the coast of Brittany you see small boats like these, presumably to access the larger vessels moored in the bay
Beautiful stained glass reflection on the walls of the church
