We really fell for Beg Meil, not too far a drive from our gîte. I'm not sure if it was the rare blue skies, the almost white sand or reports from long ago from good friends Jim & Les AND Meryl & Dave who each spent happy family holidays here one heatwave summer.
Your faithful blogger still needed to keep warm however! |
These mini-waders were feasting away on something at the water's edge |
Tine texting Meryl to tell her where we were! |
On the other side of the headland a much calmer bay, complete with cormorants drying off |
A lone fisherman through the pine trees |
All around the coast of Brittany you see small boats like these, presumably to access the larger vessels moored in the bay |
Beautiful stained glass reflection on the walls of the church |
