The World Record is beaten!

Yes, we braved all and faced the now-quite-cold Atlantic Ocean on Saturday, beating our long-standing (well from last year) last swim on 23rd September. So, beaten by four days - who'd have thought it? Anyone for October next year?!
.
The weather has been SOOO good for Phil's stay and our terrace has proved to be the place to be, sheltered from the often quite strong breeze. We haven't done anything exciting with Phil but it's been lovely to have him home (and Matt, but he's always gallivanting). Tomorrow they're tackling the 10 hour journey to Val Thorens to take Matt's 'bits & bats' to his new apartment, then later in the week they have the long journey from the Alps to London, and then Matt continues on to Yorkshire to rediscover his roots for most of October.
.
Phil has left loads of fantastic photos on my computer, some of which I will share with you next time.
