Helping Gill to move in

Yes, they're galavanting again I can hear you say - another weekend, another visit! However this time we were kept very busy helping Gill to move into her new home in Morbihan. Tine's unpacking skills came to the fore again, rustling us all into action and before long the house was becoming a home. It was good to spend some time with Gill and her lovely Mum who is staying until the end of the month. I think she's had quite an adventure since New Year!
.
We DID manage to visit a little. Betty treated us to a delicious lunch at Locmariaquer after which we drove to La Pointe de Kerpenhir, at the opening of Le Golfe du Morbihan and opposite Port Navalo where Gill and her Mum have been staying until this last Friday! Photo 1 shows the statue of the Virgin Mary at Kerpenhir.
.
The next photo show Gill's living room - the dining area is to the left of the staircase and the kitchen behind there. Gill is having a very classy kitchen installed later this week and was thankful for our camping stove! As the sun was shining we tried out the barbecue - sorry camera-shy Gill not in the photo, but she WAS there for the chipolatas and merguez sausages (eaten indoors)! I'm sure the neighbours thought 'Typical Brits - BBQ in March!'
.
We bought a GPS last week and this journey was our first proper trial with it. It brought us back through Mareuil-sur-Lay (I only knew it for its wine before - typical!!) and this photo was taken just leaving the beautiful town that we're going to return to visit very soon. Sadly I don't think the end of the rainbow was on our house...
